This, I believe, is the picture that we received in a frame for Christmas and is currently displayed proudly in our home. It is from last September's blockbuster wedding featuring Andrew and Cara. This is one of Elliot's favourite pictures and he loves to point at all the people and say who they are. Except Ethan of course. We all pretend that Ethan isn't in the picture because he scares us all. Especially Elliot. But especially me.  Posted by Picasa

Vice President Richard Cheney

Dear Vice President,

Please close Guantanamo Bay. It would mean a great deal to me.

Thanks,

Elliot's Blog of the Month Award

She's merely months old now but the accolades are beginning to pile up already for young Elsa Ackerson. Yesterday, at a star studded $500 a plate affair, the coveted EBMA was presented to the energetic young woman by guest speaker Ted Kennedy. Elsa wasn't able to attend the event herself due to her naptime but accepting the award on her behalf was David Hasselhoff who has been backpacking through North America to promote the resurrection of his hit Knight Rider series which is currently in pre-production.
Also in attendance were Salmon Rushdie, Naom Chomsky and the original cast of The Electric Company.

Elliot Becomes More Mobile

Alternative Titles: 1) Freedom Reigns... for some 2) Nancy Goes to the Market 3) There's no stopping him!!

Over the last few days, Elliot has been walking up the stairs on his own (though we strongly suggest to him that he holds our hand when he gives us some warning) and he can open doors on his own.

Umm... what do I do now? He's learned all I have to teach him.

Retrospective

Our apple tree

We received an apple tree from a former neighbour of ours who is an accomplished landscaper who now lives with his family in Chilliwack. We are very excited about this tree, it is already flowering and we expect it will grow awfully fast.  Posted by Picasa

Helping mom garden

Elliot loves to help his mom with the gardening. He waters, digs and plants seeds and seedlings and he takes great care in everything he does.
