Good Friday was a day at the zoo for the Ashton family and we had very special guests with us this trip. Uncle Brian and his "beautiful wife" as Elliot likes to call her visited the animals with us. They even let me see my favourite animal (Shadow the Grizzly) even though it meant walking all the way to the far corner of the zoo.
The boys loved hanging out with Brian and Carmen and they slept very well afterwards (as did Brian from what we've heard).
Carmen is from Texas and it wasn't the warmest day of the year but she hardly complained at all.
